Overview & Purpose
Thank you for your interest in doing business with Final Finish: The Surface Refinishing Company. This document will explain the specifics on what our limited 3-year warranty, and 5-year warranty covers and what they do not cover.
What the warranty cover?
During the warranty period, Final Finish: The Surface Refinishing Company covers any chips, paint peeling, or any type of paint
that fails to adhere due to failure of thorough cleaning and prepping under normal use and maintenance.
What we will do to correct the damage:
We will set up a date to arrive to correct the issue. When we arrive, we will inspect the issue to confirm that it was a failure on
our part and take corrective action to fix it, free of charge.
How long do these warranties last?
The warranty period for cabinet refinishing, and countertop refinishing is 1,825 days (5 years) from the date of the job
completion.
The warranty period for bathtub reglazing is 1,095 days (3 years) from the date of the job completion.
What is NOT covered under our 3 & 5-Year Warranty;
The following is a list of what our 3 & 5-year warranty does not cover;
1) Repairing/repainting paint peel/removal due to customer using improper cleaning techniques or using improper cleaning products not recommended by the Contractor.
2) Repairing/repainting damage due to customer negligence.
3) Repainting any chips or peeling caused by peeling of an under-layer of paint not applied by the Contractor. (i.e. Latex
paint that was previously applied and sprayed over by the Contractor.)
4) Repainting any chips or peeling on rubber toe kicks.
5) Repairing/repainting any scratches, chips, burns, dents, or rotting material caused by the customer or any person
other than the Contractor.
6) Tightening/re-aligning hinges/handles/knobs after customer has signed the customer satisfaction signature.
Questions or comments
Final Finish: The Surface Refinishing Company is a small business, therefore we will consistently be updating this warranty
document with more information. We recommend you save a copy of this document in the case that an updated document
provides a stricter warranty, and you can be grandfathered in with the warranty offered on the date of the contract signing. If
